Aerospace Bracket Optimization

This project involved optimizing an aerospace bracket using finite element analysis. The goal was to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity under high vibration and load conditions.

We performed topology optimization, validated with nonlinear static analysis, and achieved a 32% weight reduction without compromising safety factors. The final design passed all certification tests.

Software used: ANSYS Workbench, SolidWorks

Results: 32% weight savings, 15% cost reduction in manufacturing.
